After spending the summer reading everything I could get my hand on about tiny houses and attending the four lights houses workshop I am ready for the next step. I have connected with an architect who will be designing my concept. I will also be connecting with companies over the winter so that come spring time I will be ready to start building.
Now just to work on finding land close to Toronto that I can use to build. The other important aspect is meeting people with the space that are looking to rent the land for me to keep it on. If I could choose anywhere in the city I'd like to be around Bayview subway station. I haven't seen any structure yet that is tiny, and comfortable (ie: no bucket in the washroom) and is located in a large city. This might be one of the firsts, but I'm hoping it'll be more common in the future.
